Varshakaki was always the life and soul of any party. Even dancing at Alpesh and Bandgi's chandlomatli shortly after her knee operation! We will always remember the fun times she brought us. She was also an amazing cook and her biryani (veg and non-veg) was the best. A fond memory that my Dad (Jayant) shared with me was how Varshakaki was a pioneer in terms of cooking and ahead of the times. At Alpesh's 1st birthday party in 1982, she cooked chicken for the entire function. This would not have been the norm at the time, which shows how modern and forward thinking she was.
