Pooja 25th February 2019

My memories like a lot of people's of Varshakaki was busting out those moves on the dance floor (with the dodgy knee), the cheeky drink and brushing her teeth in the bathroom (even at a family BBQ). I will never forget the 1st time i was old enough to react in utter shock Dipubhai and Jalpabhabi's reception party (in that hall in Tooting). It was a boozy night but my gosh was I fully introduced to Varshakaki's hidden moves on that dance floor! Thinking less about all the old memories, the memory I am always going to cherish is the last time I saw Varshakaki. From the day I saw Varshakaki start battling breast cancer to when she was on the road to recovery to the last time I saw her..that smile, the grin on her face will be the most important memory I keep. I will never stop talking about the hard battle Varshakaki fought but to do that with a smile on her face all the time makes me want to battle smaller things in life like that. Keep smiling and shining bright always x
