Masi, thank you for blessing our lives with your presence, your beautiful smile, your laughter, your quick wit and sense of humour, your cooked-to-perfection dhal (all your food was pretty incredible!) and thank you for always caring for us like our second mum. I inherited your love of cartilage ear piercings way too young as it was you who inspired me to get my first one long before it became fashionable. I remember massaging your hands whilst we were both having a giggle about something on TV and seeing how much comfort it gave you, your endless supply of mints during all our outings back in the day, you and Mum being cheeky on and off dancefloors with toothbrushes and lipsticks in hand. Your wise words of wisdom won’t be forgotten and our precious 1-2-1 chats will always be cherished. It feels surreal to know you’re not here anymore but I hope your kind soul is at rest and you watch over us all with pride and happiness. You will be forever missed and I will always love you.
